Despite the challenges it faces, the Bhutanese film industry is growing quickly.

Gayatri Parameswaran travelled to capital Thimphu to meet the film stars.

Download Singapore's highest court has agreed to hear a case aimed at stopping the government from handing a 4 billion US dollars loan to the International Monetary Fund.

The application to the High Court has been filed by the leader of the opposition reform party.

Kenneth Jeyaretnam argues the move is unconstitutional because it wasn't approved by parliament and the president.

But the Singaporean authorities claim the constitutional question doesn't apply because they say the IMF loan doesn't come under the banner of government lending.

Download A new American study has found that fake malaria drugs are threatening the gains made in the fight against the deadly disease.

Researchers at the US National Institute of Health have found that more than one third of the anti-malarial drugs in Southeast Asia are fake and that a third of samples in sub-Saharan Africa don't contain the right ingredients.
